My practice draws from Person-Centered and Psychodynamic foundations, while utilizing a number of other methods, based on my clients’ needs. I am Level-2-trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and also utilize REBT/CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based skills. It is my aim to create an environment where clients feel safe, accepted, and heard.
My experience has been in a variety of settings with a broad client base. I’ve worked with adults, college students, and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, creative blocks, grief/bereavement, spirituality, relationship difficulties, career uncertainty, trauma, and substance abuse. In 2012, I was a member of the disaster recovery team that counseled individuals coping with the personal and community loss from Hurricane Sandy.
