Humantold Psychotherapy Group Workshops
Being a human is hard work, and no one is meant to do it alone. Humantold psychotherapy offer Group Workshops for individuals looking to share their personal struggles and experiences with like-minded people in a supportive environment that is guided by a professional therapist. These workshops cultivate connection, empathy, and emotional support through group learning around a specific topic. Together, attendees learn new skills that help them navigate the human condition.
Group workshops are free. If you would like to contribute to our ongoing work, donations will be accepted.
You may sign up for just one group workshop or the whole series. If you miss the first week of a series, you are still welcome to attend the following weeks.

Mindfulness & Self-Compassion
Wednesdays Michael BohuskiTime: 7:00 pmMost of us know how to be kind to a friend in need. But are we as good of a friend to ourselves? Self-compassion is the practice of meeting our own difficulties with kindness. It asks, “What do I need?” Mindfulness, or non-judgmental awareness, is the foundation that enables us to put self-compassion into practice.
This group will explore how mindfulness and self-compassion can help us to deal more effectively with the bumpy stretches on the road of life. Each session will open and close with a guided meditation, while most of the time will be for open forum discussion of how mindfulness and self-compassion can make a difference in our lives.
