Psychoeducational Evaluation

Are YOU struggling at school? Are you struggling with reading, writing, or mathematics? Do you have trouble focusing on tasks and completing work on time? Perhaps, you are working hard but your marks don’t reflect your effort?  If so, a psychoeducational evaluation may be able to provide you with some answers and solutions to these questions.

Do you HAVE A CHILD struggling at school? Do they have difficulty understanding directions, learning to read, or managing social interactions? Perhaps, they are struggling with organizing and managing tasks or completing timed tests? If so, a psychoeducational evaluation may be able to provide you with some answers and solutions to these questions.

A psychoeducational evaluation is a formal assessment conducted by psychologists with expertise in mental health, learning, behavior, and the education system. The evaluation provides a snapshot of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning. And, importantly, analyzes how any strengths or weaknesses in these areas could impact performance at school.

At Humantold, our team of clinical and school psychologists work to enhance everyone’s ability to be as successful as possible at school. Our psychoeducational evaluations can be used to:

  1. Identify strengths and weaknesses
  2. Provide diagnostic information
  3. Recommend appropriate services and/or interventions
  4. Recommend school and test accommodations
