I believe individuals who are seeking therapy are capable of making changes they are searching for and utilizes different therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, person centered, and solution focused. I establish an empathetic, non-judgement, and supportive environment for clients to feel comfortable. I find it important that each client is able to accomplish their goals as well as continuing to build upon themselves.
I have an extensive background working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, individuals with substance abuse and mental health as well as sex offenders. I have experience in providing both individual and group counseling to children as well as adults. Through meeting the client where they are at, I utilize strategies to help individuals better navigate through their lives.
