Personal Approach
We all have a story we've created to make sense of our lives. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space to unpack and make sense of this narrative in a trauma-informed way, incorporating somatic and mindfulness techniques. I focus on the whole person, collaboratively personalizing care to each client’s individual needs while considering how cultural identity and marginalized experience impact mental wellbeing.
Professional Background
I am a sex-positive, poly, kink affirming therapist and has a diverse clinical background working with LGBTQIA+, GNC, ENM, first and second generation immigrant adults and members of the BIPOC community. I bring my background in empirical research to my counseling practice, integrating an interest and commitment to evidence based practice with a deeply compassionate and relational approach.
