Show yourself the compassion you show others. You deserve kindness and care too.
Personal Approach
I bring my lived experiences to sessions as a disabled, queer Puerto Rican-American, Italian-American therapist. I use principles from the disability justice movement to create a safe, accessible, and authentic therapeutic space. I believe play, joy, and rest are critical for our collective healing and liberation. I enjoy using a client’s special interests, hobbies, and passions to facilitate growth during therapy.
Professional Background
I provide trauma-informed, gender-affirming therapy with a feminist approach. I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodivergent, and autistic clients. I have extensive experience addressing concerns related to trauma, abuse, and sexual violence. I have worked in higher education, hospitals, and a non-profit organization. Through my professional experiences, I am familiar with the maritime industry. I have worked on board ships and at sea with mariners.
