You deserve to feel empowered and unlock your potential.
Personal Approach
It is important to me to recognize the complexity of human experiences that shape perceptions and unmet needs. I work collaboratively to highlight and use your personal strengths as a catalyst to develop insight and cultivate lifestyle changes. Rooted in Relational approaches, I strive to establish a trusting, occasionally humorous, and validating therapeutic alliance which fosters deeper levels of empowerment, personal growth, and self-acceptance.
Professional Background
My clinical focus is treating adults from diverse backgrounds with anxiety, panic, mood disorders, trauma, self-esteem, relational distress, immigrant experiences, adjustment, and multicultural issues. I use CBT, Narrative and Trauma Therapy, Inner Child Work, Attachment theory, Psychodynamic Theory, and Somatic Mindfulness-Based Practices, with experience in individual and group work in South Asia and the U.S.A.
