Disclaimer

Discussion of interventions and modalities may naturally occur throughout the course of the group. It is the responsibility of each attendee to ascertain whether or not the information discussed is within the scope of their capability and practice as a licensed or permitted professional, in their respective field. Accordingly, the facilitator and other group attendees cannot be held responsible or liable for any misuse, misunderstanding, and/or misinterpretation of any content shared within the group.

As with most group settings, confidentiality cannot be 100% guaranteed during or after group meetings. Because discussion will focus on intra-psychic content and psychological theories of the mind and behavior, some group attendees may be willing to disclose personal and/or shared experiences. While this is encouraged, it is the recommendation and value of the group and group-facilitator that attendees who decide to disclose personal information, do so at their own comfort. Additionally, it is encouraged that personal disclosure remains within the group, to ensure a sense of safety.

Due to the nature of the group, content may become triggering and unintended adverse psychological reactions are possible. Should this happen, we encourage attendees, as professionals in the mental health field, to assess their needs and act accordingly to achieve psychological safety. This may or may not include notifying the facilitator prior to, during, or after the event, temporarily removing oneself from the meeting and/or group, and/or seeking therapeutic support / supervision.
Administrators will send attendees the final assessment along with a post evaluation survey to measure if objectives were met prior to sending the continuing education certificate.

Administrators will keep digital records of course and attendees information confidential. Attendees requesting records can reach out via phone at 212-828-7473 or to trainings@humantold.com. The participant will have to verify their identity before records are released. Once this has been completed, the administrative team can retrieve the information requested.

Full refunds are issued only if a workshop is canceled by Humantold. For partial refund of a workshop, participants must withdraw at least 10 business days in advance of the training start date. Participants must attend the full duration of a workshop to be eligible for full Contact Hours. As proof of attendance, participants must complete an evaluation form at the conclusion of the workshop. Per the NY State of Education, we do not provide credit for partial attendance. Any participant may contact trainings@humantold.com to discuss cost, refunds and cancellations.
