Personal Approach
My collaborative approach is based on the premise that you know yourself best. I work to create an environment in which clients feel safe to share and explore themselves in ways they have not found accessible before. I combine cognitive behavioral methods to find coping skills, with a multicultural lens to address systemic barriers as well as strengths.
Professional Background
In private practice I worked with individuals, couples, and families, through a different issues which included anxiety, depression, OCD, navigating nonmonogamy, identity exploration particularly LGBTQ identities, etc.I also worked in higher levels of care for eating disorders leading groups,managing crises,and providing trauma-informed care.
