Book Sofia
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where people feel comfortable being themselves while working toward their goals. I value meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths, and approaching each person with empathy, curiosity, and cultural awareness.
I am currently a graduate student in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Miami. My experience includes working as a behavioral interventionist, a peer mentor, and currently as a recovery coach supporting individuals with eating disorders. These experiences have strengthened my ability to build rapport, provide compassionate support, and meet clients with empathy and understanding.

Education

M.S in Mental Health Counseling, University of Miami B.A in Sociology, California State University, Long Beach

Supervisor
