My work begins with meeting you where you are at. It is of utmost importance to me that you feel comfortable, safe, and accepted in the space I provide - one with warmth, empathy, trust, and occasional tough love. I hope that we're able to, together, build an alliance to help you attain self-awareness and feel empowered to make the changes you are here to make.
Drawing from psychodynamic, narrative, relational, IFS, multicultural, and attachment approaches, I have had experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, body image and self esteem issues, trauma, multicultural and identity issues, life transitions, and interpersonal and relationship issues. I have also worked with clients belonging to different cultural, racial, age, and ethnic groups, particularly women of color, and those with South Asian backgrounds.
