I am a Nigerian immigrant who believes healing happens in the community. My work uses a person-centered approach while integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance & commitment therapies to address diverse issues, including immigrant challenges, religious trauma, gender conflicts, and connection with self/sensuality.
I have served as a therapist with the Capital Counseling Employee Assistance Program, helping clients of all ages. I worked with the SUNY Research Foundation for over two years, using motivational interviewing to address substance use, gambling, and mental health among college students. I have also supported a hotline.
