Jessica works primarily from a psychodynamic perspective: she focuses on the underlying causes to the struggles clients face and believes that deeper self-understanding promotes meaningful and lasting change. Integrating techniques from other approaches, such as mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapy, she tailors the work for each client’s unique goals and needs.
Jessica has worked with individuals across the lifespan, and collaborates with clients on issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, loss, and trauma. Additionally, she can help clients struggling with eating concerns or issues related to body size. She is passionate about integrating social justice into therapy, and weaves cultural considerations and aspects of identity into treatment.
