What is a career assessment?
Career counseling and assessment is a great step towards pursuing career goals. It is for all ages, and can help people begin, change, or advance their careers. We use powerful assessment tools like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory to give insight into people’s interests, skills, and abilities. These tests help people gain a better understanding of themselves, their strengths, and their preferences in order to make informed decisions about their career paths.

What will the process be like?
First you will meet with one of our dedicated career counselors to discuss what you are looking for, your work experiences, and background. Then your counselor will send you career assessments to complete online and at your own convenience. These assessments match your interests and skills with potential career areas. Next you will meet with your counselor to discuss the findings, and determine what work environments, occupations, and job characteristics are a good fit for you. Our career counselors will work with you to help get your career search pointed in the right direction!
